Big Night Out Pub Crawl is the best pub crawl in Australia. We are currently ranked on TripAdvisor’s Top 5 out of 250+ nightlife in Sydney, beating all other pub crawls.

What makes Big Night Out Pub Crawl the best?

There’s so many reasons, but here’s the top few:
– We’re the only pub crawl to finish at a nightclub.
– We’re the only pub crawl to include a party bus. (ONLY ON FRIDAYS)

– Other pub crawls advertise 4 venues, but go to 3, then back to the first venue as the last stop. We go to 4 DIFFERENT venues.

What nights do you operate?

We operate every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night. Fridays and Saturdays start at 8pm, while Sundays kick off at 6pm. We occasionally run one-off pub crawls for special events and holidays.

Where do I meet / How do I join the Big Night Out Pub Crawl?

Meet us inside The Scary Canary at 8pm (6pm on Sundays), we’ll be setup at the pool table. We’ll scan the QR code on your ticket, give you a wristband, and your first drink voucher. If it’s a theme night, we’ll also distribute free props such as leis, glow items, face paint, santa hats, etc.

I’m running late - can I still join the pub crawl?

Yes, of course! We’re at The Scary Canary until 9pm on Fridays & Saturdays, and 7pm on Sundays. The itinerary is on our weekly ticket page on Eventbrite so you can easily find us.

I joined late - can I get an extra drink for the one I missed?

You must arrive before 8:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays (6:30pm on Sundays) to get your first drink voucher at The Scary Canary. If you meet us at the 2nd or 3rd venue, we cannot give you extra drinks to make up for the ones you missed. The venue managers distribute the drink vouchers to the group on arrival at the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th venues, so you must arrival with the group to get your vouchers.

What type of identification is needed?

Passport, international drivers license or Australian ID.
Must be in English and valid (not expired).
Driver license can not be laminated paper type, must be plastic credit card style.
No photocopies or pictures of identification will be accepted.
Student ID’s and international ID cards are NOT accepted, even if they’re government-issued.

How do you get from venue to venue?

On Fridays, we take a party bus to each venue! Our team of fully trained professional hosts will guide you to the bus when it’s time to leave.

On Saturdays & Sundays, we walk just a short distance between venues. Our hosts will guide you as we walk to the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th venues. There is no need to worry about a thing, we take care of it. Our staff will be strategically positioned at any twist and turn to make sure you get from venue to venue in a fun and safe way.

What is the dress code?

We dress nicer on Fridays to comply with Cargo’s smart-casual dress code. No shorts on Fridays.

No singlets, flip flops, or open back shoes any night.

Special exceptions for theme nights. Details will be posted in event and ticket page. For example, when we finish at a foam party, you can bring wear a swimsuit or bikini at the last venue, however, standard dress code will apply at the first 3 venues.

Are all club entry fees included?

Absolutely, even at the last nightclub that has a cover charge normally the same price or more than the pub crawl! It’s all included!

What time does the Big Night Out Pub Crawl finish?

On Fridays & Saturdays, we usually arrive at the final venue around 11:30pm. They’re open til 3am so feel free to stay for an hour or the rest of the night.

On Sundays, we arrive around 9:30pm. They’ll be open until at least 1am, and possibly as late as 3am depending how busy it is.

Do we need to book our tickets in advance?

We have limited tickets available every Friday due to the party bus capacity. It is highly recommended that you book your Friday tickets online in advance to guarantee your spot as we sell out almost every week.

There is no limit Saturdays & Sundays, however we offer sometimes we offer special discounts for booking online. Plus, on Saturdays if you order in advance it helps us estimate how much pizza to order!

Do you organize private pub crawls?

Yes, we can organize and customize private pub crawls for groups of 25 or more.

Do you take group bookings?

Yes, we accept all group bookings from birthdays, hens nights, farewell parties, work functions, and any other group outing. However, keep in mind this is a pub crawl with people from all over the world so we strongly encourage you to socialize with everybody and make some new friends in the process.

Do you offer any discounts?

Sometimes we may post a discount code on our Facebook/Instagram for special occasions. Also, if you’re organizing a group of 10+, message us for a discount.

What beverages are available on the tour?

Scary Canary – Scary Jar, their signature cocktail, a $10 value (Fri, Sat, Sun)

The Watershed – Beer, wine, or spirit (Fridays)

Side Bar – Beer, wine, or spirit (Fri, Sat, Sun)

Cargo – Beer, wine, or spirit (Fridays)

The Vault – Shot (Usually Fireball, Jagermeister, or Tequila) (Sat/Sun)

Palace Hotel – Vodka + mixer (Sat/Sun)

Do you provide any food on the night?

On Friday’s, we provide free canapes at the 2nd venue.

On Saturday’s, there’s free pizza at the 3rd venue.

On Sunday’s, we don’t provide food, but Scary Canary (1st venue) has a great deal with .50 cent wings or you can get 20 wings & 2 beers for $20!

By law, all venues serving alcohol must serve food, so food is available for purchase all night at any of the venues.

Do I need to print my ticket?

No, we can just scan the QR code on the ticket e-mail from your phone.  Please have it ready when you arrive to help speed up the check-in process.
